Contest poster and prizes
Here is the third poster in the First Nation school contests promoting traffic safety, this one geared at high school kids. I have no idea what high school kids think is cool, so this is what they get. The big draw will be the iPod prizes.
And these are the 2-colour t-shirt illustrations for the winners of the grades 5 - 8 contest (Lukida) and the K - 4 contest (safety kids). It was good to do a two-colour silkscreen on something that wasn't white. Easier to use the navy of the shirt as a third colour.

Promotional piece
This is the promo piece for the Brokers and staff to order calendars. It is closer to what I originally envisioned for the call for entries but didn't have the thirty hours to spend in Photoshop like I did for this. Not that I had that time this week, I just neglected my other work! The only thing I'm not really happy with is the 2008 SGI CANADA type in the top left corner. I don't send out files until Wednesday so I've still got time...

Fun and tacky posters
Could I do anymore photocopy posters - this month? Seems like that's the only kind of poster I do anymore...
I'm doing to calendar this year. Against my will. I'm not a big fan because it's all project management and 8% creativity. Not my idea of fun. So I did it how I wanted to do it. I think everyone who see it in approvals will be leary about it. This call for entries might be a little too fresh for them. Or maybe it's just naive in general.
This is a youth conference after-party poster. The title was so lame. A party in the summer. I couldn't resist making the images really lame, too. Deli tray, anyone?
UPDATE: Here is the final approved conference poster and ticket. Not a big surprise they didn't go with the first option...as it was a joke.

Brochures
This brochure template was designed about four years ago. Each is a different colour within a green to blue to purple range. Well, we've actually been expanding out of that as there are so many various brochures now, we needed more room for differentiating them. And I still like them after all these years...

Moving forward
I think it's funny how people so politely ask why the cover is so plain and the interior is so bright. I always tell them that I wanted to create contrast between the exterior and interior while maintaining our corporate visual identity standards. That's when their eyes gloss over and they squeak out a little, "oh." I don't tell them that the book has no focus and that the title is just a title and doesn't really communicate what the interior holds so therefore I really had nothing to work with. Just made it up as I went along...
